Hello Kitty Ugly Duckling Meets the Giant Rubber Duck in Hong Kong

The Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman and his famous giant Rubber Duck become extremely hot right now in Hong Kong, because this adorable 6-floor tall yellow duck has sailed to Victoria Harbour and will be parked next to the Harbour City for till the 9th of June. How can I miss such cute thing?

On the 2nd of May, the first day that the Rubber Duck met the public, I took my lovely Hello Kitty Ugly Duckling from McDonalds’ Fairy Tale Plush Collections and went to Victoria Harbour. The weather was grey but the visibility was nice.  I arrived around 3pm and it’s already very crowed.

The Giant Rubber Duck was a little bit far aways from the gate of Harbour City and looked small on the picture. Actually the Rubber Duck is 16.5-meter high, 19.2-meter long. It is the biggest Rubber Duck in the world.

I tried to get close from another spot but here’s been blocked too. The Rubber Duck almost reached the huge cruise ship behind.

In front of the Harbour City gate, there were many small Rubber Duck displayed. It was crazily crowed that I had to shot the picture quickly before someone jumped in.

I went through the shopping mall and got up to the car park. Finally got closer to the Rubber Duck. This photos was taken from the third floor of the car park.
