Unboxing My Hello Kitty Plush from Sanrio Game Master Exhibition

If you have read my previous post about Sanrio Game Master Exhibition in Kowloon Bay, you should be familiar with the design concept of this exhibition. This year’s Hello Kitty event is designed to a huge board game hall. Hello Kitty is the main character hosting this unique event as game master.

This exhibition also launched many cute souvenirs only available in the exhibition.

Love Box Design

From the very first moment I spotted this lovely Hello Kitty plush set, I fell immediately in love. It’s not only that I really love the colourful design of this Hello Kitty, but also the various small accessories coming along with the set.

The small accessories are hidden under Hello Kitty’s feet

Shall we start the unboxing? This special Hello Kitty plush toy comes in very stable and large box. I really like the design with the transparent part showcasing Hello Kitty as a typical board game figure. The Hello Kitty plush figure is about 27-28cm high (which is quite big compared to other Hello Kitty plush figures – e.g. the ones from the Hong Kong McDonalds promotion).

Cute Accessories

Altogether there are four small accessories. Each one is designed to be a cute game (from left to right : Chess, Tangram, Dice and Ring Toss Bunny)

Hello Kitty Chess

Kawaii Magic Dice (this little fellow is one of the main characters of the exhibition)

It is written Tangram Crown on the box. However, it looks more like a Jigsaw Puzzle.

Ring Toss Bunny

It seems that this cute bunny attracts all the rings. Who wouldn’t love to toss the rings over this lovely rabbit? The bunny has been very cute designed and Hello Kitty looks just adorable when you attach it on her head.

Neither the picture from the official website nor the instruction on the box has detailed information on this plush. When I played with the bunny and tried to put it on the head of Hello Kitty as the official design, it suddenly snapped to the right ear and I discovered both the bunny and the kitty had magnets inside. What a cool feature ! The bunny can attach to Hello Kitty’s head without falling off.

So are the other three accessories. Not only the accessories but also Hello Kitty’s both hands contain a magnet inside. The Magic Dice and Hello Kitty Chess can be sucked to Hello Kitty’s hands tightly. Cool !

This Sanrio Game Master Exhibition Limited Edition Hello Kitty Plush Box Set is very nicely designed with surprisingly good quality. I’m very happy I had a chance to get a set for myself. It is very comfortable to touch and play with. The idea to use magnets inside the plush toy as well as the accessories is simply brilliant. I really love the way how you can attach the little cute friends, take them off and attach them to another position without worrying that they fall off, get damaged or even worst lost.

Seriously, how can you not love her? It is not only cute and adorable, but also the design and ideas are outstanding. Love, love, love it! Before I forget it, I also bought some additional limited souvenir items. So stay tuned for my next review.
