Hello Kitty Macaroons
Since the store was sill under Soft Opening, it didn’t provide all the macaroons as pictures. There were only three flavours of Macaroons, printed with either Hello Kitty smiles or her bow (HKD 28 per piece).

Hello Kitty Cups
It’s not a real café if there’s not drinks. It’s not a real Hello Kitty café if there’s no Hello Kitty printed on the cups.
Hello Kitty Le Petit Café provides Espresso, Signature Café (such as Cappuccino, Café Latte, Café Mocha etc.), Hot Drinks (such as Hot Chocolate, Cookie & Cream, Pure Ceylon Tea, Chamomile Citrus etc.), Cold Drinks (such as Iced Café, Iced Cappuccino, Iced Hazelnut Latte etc.) as well as Smoothie (such as Mixed berries, Passion Fruit, Cookie & Cream etc.). For hot coffee, there are two size options: 8 oz (HKD 34 up) and 12 oz (HKD 38 up).
I have to say for the price, it’s a little bit high since I can get a 16 oz hot coffee from Starbucks for only HKD 36. However, I went there for Hello Kitty not for the food. So as long as everything is Hello Kitty cute, I am fine with it.
I was expecting a super kawaii Hello Kitty Latte Art on the top of the drink (like in Taipei’s Hello Kitty Sweets). Taking the advice of the staff, I ordered a small (8 oz) Café Mocha and Red Apple Cake. However, when I got my coffee, I felt nothing but disappointment.

My Hello Kitty Café Mocha
This is my Hello Kitty Café Mocha. I hardly could believe what I got. What happened to my Hello Kitty? Is it all I got when I traveled hours to Hello Kitty Le Petit Café and ordered a coffee double the price of Starbucks?

My poor Café Mocha
I was still trying to take some pictures from what I got and I had to hurry up. Before I could finish, my Hello Kitty has already gone.
The manager of the Café was very nice. She kindly asked how I thought about the coffee and cake. I told her I was very unhappy about the Hello Kitty coffee since it neither tasted good (all the mocha powder already dropped to the bottom) nor looked good. She immediately apologized and asked her staff to compensate me with another Café Latte.

Hello Kitty Café Latte
This time was much much better.

Hello Kitty Café Latte
I understand it’s still under Soft Opening and their staffs need more training.

Hello Kitty Red Apple Cake
Here’s my Hello Kitty Red Apple Cake. My fist size, HKD 48. The stem of apple was made of dark chocolate and the logo of Hello Kitty was made of white chocolate.

Hello Kitty Red Apple Cake
I have written about the Hello Kitty Mousse Cake from Japanese Dessert Brand “Baby Mon Cher”, which is located at the same floor in SOGO. Personally I felt the Hello Kitty Mousse Cake from Baby Mon Cher was cuter and more delicious.

Hello Kitty Coffee Cup Sleeves

Hello Kitty Napkin
Similar to the Hello Kitty Sweets in Taipei, the napkin is printed with the logo of the Café.

Candies from Hello Kitty Le Petit Café
Next to the cashier, there were bottles of Hello Kitty Candies. I have tried one. It tastes like peanut milk candy.

Hello Kitty Coffee Beans
If you like the taste of their coffee, you also can purchase the Hello Kitty House Blend Coffee Beans and make your own coffee at home.

Hello Kitty Christmas Cookies
Since Christmas is coming, there two Hello Kitty head-shape Xmas Cookies (HKD 10 per piece). I tried the dark brown one. It was coffee taste. Yummy!
Kitty’s Little Secret
The Hello Kitty Le Petit Café is opened on the 7th of December 2013 in B/F Freshmart, SOGO, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
It is not very big and has not even dine-in places. But as a very first Hello Kitty themed Café in Hong Kong, it’s a good start.
If you are a crazy Hello Kitty fan, you can consider to visit it and enjoy the complete Hello Kitty atmosphere. However, if you are expecting quality coffees and cakes, there are other better options (such as the mousse cake from Baby Mon Cher).
