Be prepared that the menu of Hello Kitty Sweets Café is completely written in Chinese. But don’t be worried, Hello Kitty Sweets Café took good care of guests who couldn’t understand Chinese and included lots of pictures of the food next to the Chinese description. I went not there for taste but the design of cake anyhow. So basically I would choose the cake just based on judging the outlook. n_n

The menu of Hello Kitty Sweets Café followed the pink Hello Kitty style and filled the menu with kitty’s ribbons and faces. All the pictures on the menu looked so attractive and tasty that it’s very hard to decide. They provided different dessert platters for teatime, like Kitty Tiramisu, Vanilla Sky, Dreaming Pink Strawberry, Love of Green Apple, Vanilla Forrest, Chocolate Dome, Caramel Pear Cake, Kitty Yogurt Cake… Each set included a drink and a dessert for free ( I just knew afterwards when they didn’t ask me to pay the drink).

Although the waitress couldn’t speak good English, she nicely pointed out the minimum consumption in Hello Kitty Sweets Café was NT$ 300. Taking a look at the price, you will find out you simply could reach NT$ 300 consumption with a cup of coffee and a cake. The plate was decorated with drops of red strawberry jelly around and colorful fresh strawberry, pineapple and orange… The rich chocolate brownie cake didn’t look so special however everything was lighted up by the Kitty face made of green tea powder. Everything becomes great when Kitty is there… Mine was Hello Kitty holding a heart in green color and I saw they also had Kitty sitting in a mug in purple and Kitty holding a strawberry in pink.

After I got back home I just realized what I ordered was an OREO cookie chocolate brownie…lol…(didn’t taste OREO inside)

It cost me a looooooooong time to put my fork on the cake and take my first sip of the coffee. Frankly speaking, the food and drink looked better than the taste.

When I thought I had finished everything, the waitress brought a small plate to my table (the free dessert I mentioned above). It turned out to be a Hello Kitty face made out of strawberry jelly. It was so lovely and brought another time heartbreak to destroy it…

While waiting for the food, I couldn’t waste any time of my stay and walked around in the Hello Kitty Sweets Café and took a close look at the decoration details of the whole restaurants… Everything was carefully designed and full of princess Kitty atmosphere…
