Hello Kitty Nanoblock Mini Collection from Kawada Japan
Last month I got this new limited Hello Kitty microblock. It is made in China but designed by KAWADA in Japan. It is not the first time that Kawada collaborates with Sanrio. Last time (June 2012) they launched Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars (KiKi & LaLa), My Melody, Pompompurin, Charmmy Kitty, Kuromi as well as Cinnamoroll mini collections. This 2nd series Sanrio character mini collections was launched on the 15th of March 2013. The official price is JPY 892 each.
I couldn’t wait to open it and build it up immediately.
Each package has one instruction written in both Japanese and English. The red plastic bag is a zip bag that you can stock everything back in the original package.
The cute little Nanoblock is very similar to Lego but much smaller. The smallest one is merely 4×4 millimeter. Different colors are packed in separated plastic bags. Besides the blocks needed, there are also a lot extra blocks included. I have counted that I have almost 50 extra pieces.
For this Hello Kitty mini collection, a 4×4 cm plate was included to let Hello Kitty stand on. I started from the bottom.
Finished the red T-shirt and two little arms.
And then the head.
Viola, finally finished. Isn’t she lovely? This the Kawaii Edition with cute big eyes. I have to say because each block is very small, it may be a little bit troublesome for those with big hands. :P
